Quartz is engineered stone (resin-bound quartz crystals) — uniform, non-porous, virtually maintenance-free. Quartzite is natural stone — harder than granite, must be sealed, with one-of-a-kind veining. Doug will help you choose based on how you'll use the space.

How long does a countertop project take?

Most full-scope countertop projects in Orange County run 8–16 weeks once construction begins, with design and selections taking an additional 6–10 weeks beforehand. Doug builds a detailed schedule during the design phase so you know exactly what to expect at every stage.

Do you handle permits and HOA approvals?

Yes. We manage permitting with the City of Huntington Beach and surrounding Orange County jurisdictions, and we routinely prepare submittals for coastal-community HOAs and architectural review boards.

Can we live in the home during construction?

In most cases, yes. We dust-protect adjacent rooms, schedule the loudest work in concentrated windows, and keep daily access to bedrooms, bathrooms, and a temporary cooking setup whenever possible.
